View this email online Friends,  In the past couple of weeks, the Supreme Court served up some major decisions curbing gun regulation, abortion rights and the government’s power to regulate emissions. It also ruled to allow the White House to end the Trump-era ‘remain in Mexico’ policy, which forced asylum seekers to wait across the border while their claims were considered.  Whether the rulings have elated you or plunged you into despair, you’re not alone in feeling emotionally, and maybe even politically, charged. And as we head into the 4th of July, these decisions and their consequences got us thinking a little differently about the holiday this year, like about what it means to be a good citizen and how to encourage kids to become civically active.
