Microsoft has announced the official retirement of Internet Explorer, which will be succeeded by Microsoft Edge.
It's June 16, 2022—National Fudge Day. Perfect for a Thursday? We think so. So, when you take off for lunch today, maybe add a brownie or two to the plate. We won't tell your dentist (or ours). |

1. Microsoft Officially Suspends All Support for Internet Explorer |
Microsoft ended official support for Internet Explorer as of June 15. IE users can continue to use it for a few more months, though Microsoft will soon institute a redirect to Edge. It's surreal to think IE won't be a thing for much longer, but it's been around for ~27 years, which is a heck of a run. Thanks, IE! |
2. Amazfit's Newest Bips Go Big
|
Amazfit is adding a pair of new smartwatches, the Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro, to its roster of affordable wrist trackers. The pair improve on their predecessors with more health monitoring functions and larger color displays, and you can pick them up now for $59.99 and $69.99, respectively. Let's get healthy! |
3. Steam Makes Its Way to Nreal AR Glasses

Internet Explorer going way is a bit sad, but we'd be surprised to find someone who genuinely preferred it to the competition. Those committed to Microsoft browsers can or probably have moved to Edge, but based on the numbers above, there aren't many of them either. Chrome is likely to thank for that. |
