The EU has released a new legislation to make USB-C chargers the standard for smartphones by 2024. What say you, Apple?

EU Declares: It's USB-C Charging or Nothing After a decade of debate, the EU has released legislation dictating that USB-C chargers become the mandatory standard for smartphones by 2024. This includes Apple products, potentially forcing the company to swap out its proprietary Lightning port. Sounds kinda wild, but we'll see how it all plays out. 2. iOS 16 Sneaks Nintendo Controller Support Into the Mix  Buried among the new iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 features is support for bluetooth Nintendo controllers—something that's been missing from Apple's mobile devices. Whether there are any big plans for this remains to be seen, but even if there aren't, it at least offers more physical controller options. Yay, options! 3. Minecraft Wild Update: It's a Swamp Thing In its ongoing endeavors to keep expanding its theoretically infinite worlds, Minecraft has just released a new update, called The Wild, that adds even more to the mix. And all of the platforms that support it are being included in the release, so it's new blocks, biomes, and creatures for everybody!
