Studies show that hands can help sell your products, influencing how customers feel when they can imagine themselves using something. You don't need a perfect manicure to show off those palms in product shots. Just hold or touch the product in a way that makes sense. (You probably wouldn't put a sock on your ear, unless that's part of your brand, but you could show someone pinching the socks or sliding them on their feet.)

Showing your product from the first-person point of view can help increase how much people like the product, whether they're likely to buy it, and if they're willing to pay for it. (Think product unboxings or front-row roller coaster POVs on YouTube.) When people see something as if they're using it, they can feel a sense of ownership, showing them the value.

If this is a new concept and you can't put your finger on what works, test it out. In the meantime, check out a handful of emails featuring hands holding products (and holding each other).

"We got our biggest customer from RGE."
Bethany Stachenfeld, CEO of SendSpark, told us their biggest customer came from Really Good Emails. And it wasn't just that - she showed us that RGE had sent SendSpark thousands of people that generated in hundreds of leads and paid accounts.

Other CEOs have weighed in too. Take Product Hunt's Ryan Hoover who said "Really Good Emails has been doing it from day one" and Litmus' who said "RGE has managed to become this little darling in the email marketing community."

If you want to advertise on RGE, our newsletter, or get involved in our events, it's as easy as sending an email to company@reallygoodemails.com.

Fun fact: Someone on the RGE team has a last name that translates to "the hand" in Spanish. This nickname fit like a glove when this person played ultimate Frisbee and frequently intercepted the disc on the field.
