Meta Pushes Back End-to-End Encryption on Platforms Until 2023 Facebook Messenger and Instagram won't get default end-to-end encryption until 2023, Meta (formerly Facebook) announced on Monday. It was originally aiming for 2022, but now says it's working with privacy and safety experts to ensure it gets E2EE right. Still, 2023 seems like a long time to wait. 2. GoDaddy Reveals Recent Hack Exposed 1.2 Million Accounts GoDaddy has revealed an "unauthorized third party" gained access to roughly 1.2 million WordPress accounts back in September 2021. Hacked info included email addresses, phone numbers, admin passwords, and more. Ugh. Get it together, GoDaddy! And stay safe, WordPress users. 3. Analogue's Pocket Handheld to Ship in December Following multiple delays, Analogue will finally begin shipping its Pocket handheld gaming system on December 13. Those who pre-ordered the Pocket can make adjustments to their delivery until November 28, including any address changes. Nice.
