YouTube Premium Experimenting With Video Downloads YouTube is quietly testing a video download feature for Premium subscribers. Some Premium users have noticed a new option to download videos through the Labs page, which explains the feature test will end in October. What happens after that? It'll probably come back as a paid feature in a few months. 2. Twitter Working on a Fix for Disappearing Tweets Ever had tweets disappear while reading them? Well, Twitter is finally working on a solution. These fixes will roll out over the next two months to address the problem, which seems to occur when the timeline auto-refreshes, and when using the iOS and Android app. Our personal solution? Stop using Twitter. 3. EU Commission Wants to Make USB-C the Default The European Commission is pushing to make USB-C the new default, believing it's more convenient for people and will reduce e-waste. It could also end the practice of bundling chargers with devices, which often results in drawers full of old cables.
