The latest tips, strategies, advice, and stories from the Buffer blog.
Hey There 👋🏽 Last time, Tami told you about Build Week. From August 22-25th, all of us at Buffer paused our regular tasks and meetings to get into small groups and work on a micro-project. The idea was that, in the span of 3-4 days, we could build and ship something that would benefit our team and/or customers. The goal was to also connect with team members we don't normally get a chance to work with. This was the first time I've ever participated in an event like this, and I ended up having a great time! My team worked on a way to provide free Buffer users with a better sense of our analytics. I was shocked at how much we were able to accomplish in such a short time. It was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again 😃 Here are just a few of the projects my colleagues worked on: - A global map page with all of our team members' locations
- A page highlighting our team's love for reading
- A weekly report card for customers, showcasing their achievements & important metrics
- A transparent dashboard with our latest revenue, marketing, and customer support numbers
Tami and I didn't publish any new content last week so we could fully immerse ourselves in Build Week, but below I'm sharing some older blog posts that are still super relevant. We have a couple of lists with free marketing classes and tools that can elevate your social media game. A piece about generating sales through social commerce. Plus, a great post from a small business owner on creating community. Hope you have a lovely start to the week, and we'll see you next time! |
