- After 10 months and 1,000 interviews, the House committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol will begin primetime hearings on Thursday at 8 pm ET. [CNN / Paul LeBlanc]
- The panel will discuss what former President Donald Trump did while a mob of his supporters violently stormed the building and reveal its findings on the extent of the plot to overturn Trump's 2020 election loss. [Slate / Dennis Aftergut]

- It's unclear how much Americans will care about the hearings amid soaring inflation, a recent series of mass shootings, and a nationwide baby formula shortage, however. [Associated Press / Calvin Woodward]
