This weekend I walked around feeling lost. Loss of understanding. Loss of unity. Loss of security.
Dear Friends,
This weekend I walked around feeling lost. Loss of understanding. Loss of unity. Loss of security. But something we haven't lost: compassion. Within our amazing community of people there is an untold variety of personal experience and opinion, a culture of building each other up no matter where they come from, and a love for individuals I haven't seen elsewhere. This is why I and the rest of the RGE team have dedicated countless hours in keeping this thing going. It isn't the emails. It is the people.
If you've been reading our newsletter for a while or attended one of our events, you know that Really Good Emails strives to embiggen an inclusive community that increases personal freedoms and collaborative support. As men who started this company, we know we can't say anything better than the amazing women who have weighed in on last week's Supreme Court ruling. The reason for this isn't to add to those words, but to show our commitment to you and overcoming the barriers that come in your way.
All of us hold the keys to the megaphones to our audiences. But often, it is the people we aren't reaching that need to hear from us. For this reason, we're upping our donations to women-focused organizations that help the underserved. We hope you donate your time and money to organizations that will make the world a better place.
Often, we find ourselves only when we help others.
Truly yours, Matthew and the rest of the RGE team | |
