Really Good Emails

With brands recently sending a flurry of "Want to opt out of ... emails?" messages, it raises the question, 1) Are these opt-out emails necessary? and 2) Do brands need to send an email for...every holiday? (In our defense, April Fools' Day was necessary and on-brand for RGE...)

Recognizing that certain holidays can be painful for subscribers shows awareness. But sending an email with that holiday name in the subject line, and the email body, and the CTA...might hurt more than it helps the audience.

As an alternative, brands can request subscriber preferences immediately upon email signup. Or send an email to subscribers - unrelated to holidays - with a link to update their profile.

Plus, think about what holidays align best with your brand, product, and/or services. Consider which holidays are just kinda...there, that you can skip from the content calendar. Be intentional with the messages you're sending to your audience as you grow and nurture these relationships.

"We got our biggest customer from RGE."
Bethany Stachenfeld, CEO of SendSpark, told us their biggest customer came from Really Good Emails. And it wasn't just that - she showed us that RGE had sent SendSpark thousands of people that generated in hundreds of leads and paid accounts.

Other CEOs have weighed in too. Take Product Hunt's Ryan Hoover who said "Really Good Emails has been doing it from day one" and Litmus' who said "RGE has managed to become this little darling in the email marketing community."

If you want to advertise on RGE, our newsletter, or get involved in our events, it's as easy as sending an email to company@reallygoodemails.com.
