Your personal style is a statement to the world – a fluid channel that can communicate who you are or where you’re at or where you might want to be. For many of us over the past two years, that statement was something like: Comfort is king! Stretchy fabrics or bust!
And we’re not knocking it. To all those well-loved and worn out pajama shirts, those stretched out pandemic sweatpants holding on to their elastic by a literal thread – we thank you sincerely for your service!
Clothes are far more than just utility. Our personal style gives us space to play and dream and belong and stand out, and shift our own mindsets, and maybe even challenge the minds of others, too.
So throw out all the rules you think you know and let your creativity – and this handy visual guide from artist LA Johnson – lead you to new (or old!) fashion frontiers.
