Working in email has exposed us to so many other ecommerce opportunities but one huge untapped market was the SPAM industry. Not email spam (BORING) but the gelatinous meat space. Is there anything better? Hawaiians are known to be the biggest lovers of this mysterious meat coagulation, but we'd like to surpass their renown by being the SPAM champions of the world.
We're converting our Unspam event from email-focused to meat-focused. We're pivoting to calling it TOTAL SPAMFEST. It's clearly the best step for everyone. For those of you who still want tickets, get your butt in gear and purchase here.
With our new event focus comes new expectations.
Mandatory Dressy Attire If the shoes are uncomfortable, then they're just right. Your own badge With all your personal meat preferences on it, the more personal the better.
Meat Accoutrement
What other mystery items can you add to your mystery meat? Perhaps some marmite for all you lovers of the strange fermented goop?
No live Tweets. Just canned responses. Seems on-brand right?
No paella dinner. But a buffet full of SPAM. Optional SPAM ice cream served after.
Your TOTAL SPAMFEST ticket purchase will no longer include the best of ecommerce email marketing, chatting with fellow geeks (and peeps respecting Introvert Mode when you need quiet time). Instead, it will be mostly just inspecting and eating piles of… SPAM. But to help address the real-world concerns going on at the moment, we'll donate $50 per ticket to support World Central Kitchen in their efforts on the ground in Europe: specifically, meals served to families across Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Moldova, and Hungary.
So quit foolin' around! Get your ticket now and join us for TOTAL SPAM in Chicago, April 28-29.
While TOTAL SPAMFEST is clearly an April Fools' joke, our donations to World Central Kitchen are not. So go and buy your ticket to SPAMFEST (which really is just another ticket to Unspam) and we'll make sure to get your name on a $50 bill that we'll personally (or digitally) send to those helping out on the front lines of the war. |
