If Canadians start to stream south for vacations and shopping sprees, they won’t be spending their money on destinations here, according to tourism associations.
Beginning Nov. 8, all ports of entry into the U.S., including ferries, will allow non-essential travellers, such as tourists, if they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
For almost 20 months, Canadian visitors haven’t been allowed to make the routine drive across nearby border bridges at Buffalo, Niagara Falls, or Lewiston, N.Y.
